Former Poughkeepsie Priest Named In Sex Abuse Case, Court Filing Says A former Hudson Valley priest who was thrown out of the church for sexually abusing a teenager has been named in a separate abuse case from years ago. Daniel Calabrese was one of 10 former priests who have been charged with sexually abusing a then 13-year-old boy while he was a student at St. Joseph’s Seminary in Yonkers, according to a Westchester court filing. Ex-Hudson Valley Resident Allegedly Beaten To Death By Parents To Be Buried A 10-year-old girl who spent the first seven years of her life in the Hudson Valley, will be buried Saturday in Newburgh after allegedly being beaten to death by her mother and step-father. Sharon Carrillo, 33, and Julio Carrillo, 51, were arrested on Feb. 28 in Stockton Springs, Maine, for murder after they beat Middletown native Marissa Kennedy on a daily basis, causing injuries that killed her on Feb. 25, the Bangor Daily News reported.
