Man From Area Admits Sharing Child Porn Depicting 10-Year-Old
A man from the region is facing years in prison after admitting that he shared sexually explicit images of a child. Jonathan Waters, age 38, of Albany, pleaded guilty to one count of promoting a sexual performance by a child Tuesday, Jan. 10, in Albany County Court. Prosecutors said Waters possessed a video depicting a 10-year-old child engaging in sexual acts. He later uploaded the video to a peer-to-peer file sharing service. 23-Year-Old Dutchess Man Faces Child Porn Charge
A Hudson Valley man has been charged with possession of child pornography after state police received a tip. Dutchess County resident Michael C. Peratikos, age 23, of Wappinger, was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 18, said Trooper AJ Hicks, of the New York State Police. After receiving a law enforcement tip, investigators determined Peratikos possessed child pornography, Hicks said. He was charged with possession of a sexual performance by a child and released on an appearance ticket. Peratikos is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, Nov. 3 in Wappinger.

Dutchess Man Caught Possessing Child Porn, State Police Say
A 50-year-old man from the area is facing charges for allegedly possessing explicit images of a minor who was familiar with him, New York State Police said. New York State Police investigators in Dutchess County announced the arrest of Poughkeepsie resident Sean Hulsmann on Friday, July 16 for child pornography charges. A high school teacher in the area has been arrested for alleged possession of a sexual performance by a child. Brian Kinsley, 34, an English teacher at Poughkeepsie High School, was arrested on Tuesday, June 11 by the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation, said Trooper Steven Nevel. A registered Level 3 sex offender convicted of possessing child pornography and posing online as an underage female, is facing new charges after being busted with more obscene materials involving minors and failing to register email addresses.
