The White Plains School District is testing out five buses that will be operated through National Express, marking the state's first foray into an electric fleet of buses.  The 100-percent electric buses will get an estimated 66 miles on a full battery charge, and drivers will be able to track battery life through their cell phones. Former Pine Plains Transportation Supervisor Resigns From Job In Mahopac Mahopac School Superintendent Anthony DiCarlo announced that district Transportation Supervisor Pamela Romeo has resigned. Two School Buses Involved In Carmel Crash About 20 students and a couple of adults are being evaluated following a crash between two school buses at the intersection of Route 311 and North Terry Hill Road in the Hamlet of Lake Carmel in the Town of Kent.
