Arson: 27-Year-Old Disables Alarm Before Setting Fire To Apartment In Region, Police Say A 27-year-old man is accused of setting fire to an apartment complex in the region. Firefighters in Saratoga County were called at around 2:20 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, for a structure fire in Ballston on Dominic Drive, according to New York State Police. Members of the Ballston Spa Fire Department isolated and extinguished the fire, and determined it was suspicious. There were no reports of injuries. Woman Drives Over Victim, Flees During Altercation In Region, Police Say A 58-year-old woman is facing charges after allegedly hitting a victim with her car and then fleeing during an altercation in the region. Saratoga County resident Thon Baker, of Lake Luzerne, was arrested Wednesday, Aug. 2, on assault and other charges, according to New York State Police. Troopers were initially called at around 6:40 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, for a severely injured person in the town of Hadley, on Stewart Bridge Road.
