Woman Attempting To Park Outside Bank Crashes Into Building In Hopewell Junction, Police Say A woman attempting to park at a bank in Hopewell Junction jumped the curb and drove into the building. The incident took place around 9:46 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, when East Fishkill police responded to the Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union on Route 376 for a report of a car accident, said East Fishkill Police Chief Matthew Orsino. 80-Year-Old Man Dragged By Truck In Dutchess An 80-year-old man was injured when he left his truck in neutral and then reached inside to retrieve something and was dragged as it rolled.  The incident took place around 11:12 a.m. Monday on Route 376 in Hopewell Junction, said East Fishkill Police Chief Matthew Orsino. The unidentified man had gotten out of his truck to go back inside his home to call his doctor about his medication but once on the phone, realized he had left the medication in the truck and went to retrieve it, Orsino said.
