Person Hospitalized After Crash On Roadway In Hudson Valley
A two-car crash on a busy main road in Northern Westchester sent one person to the hospital and caused a small fluid spill. The collision happened on Friday, June 16 around 4 p.m., when first responders were sent to Route 100 in Katonah by the King Kone ice cream shop for a reported crash, according to the Somers Volunteer Fire Department. After the patients involved were evaluated, one was sent to a local hospital. 7-Eleven In Hudson Valley Robbed, State Police Say
State police are investigating the robbery of a 7-Eleven store in Northern Westchester in which three masked reportedly stole cash and cigarettes. The robbery took place on Tuesday, March 22, at the store located on Route 100 in Somers, said Trooper AJ Hicks. The robbery is still under investigation and no further details are being released at this time, Hicks said. Check back to Daily Voice for updates on new information as the investigation continues.

Two Hospitalized After Fiery Crash In Area
Two people were hospitalized after a fiery crash on a busy roadway in Northern Westchester. It happened just before noontime on Tuesday, May 25 in Somers on Route 100 and Elmer Galloway Road. Before arrival by firefighters and EMS personnel, a state trooper applied a tourniquet to a seriously injured driver of one of the vehicles, according to the Somers Volunteer Fire Department. Man Charged In Thanksgiving Day Road-Rage Incident In Area
A 62-year-old man is facing multiple charges after state police say he was involved in a Thanksgiving Day road-rage incident in Northern Westchester. At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 22, a victim of road rage led the man's vehicle to the parking lot of the State Police Somers barracks on Route 100. The state police sergeant at the barracks heard the disturbance and investigated. Somers resident John A. Motorcyclist, 27, Killed In Crash With Sedan On Taconic Parkway
A 27-year-old Westchester resident was killed in a crash that saw him ejected from his motorcycle and fatally striking the center median of the Taconic Parkway in Northern Westchester. Scott McMahon was driving his 2017 Aprilia motorcycle shortly after 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 28 on the parkway near exit 8 (Route 100/Route 133) in New Castle when he fatally crashed after reportedly striking a sedan and losing control.
