In Sullivan County, Monticello Central Schools Superintendent Matthew Evans issued an alert to the community advising that the Robert J. Kaiser Middle School will be going remote after two new staff members tested positive for COVID-19. Monticello Schools Placed On Lockout After Video Threat Monticello schools were temporarily put into a lockout on Wednesday morning, Feb. 6  when a video of a community member making a threat against the school surfaced. On the morning of Feb. 6, students approached administrators at the Robert J. Kaiser Middle School with a video clip of an area resident making verbal threats against the school district. The nature of the threats was not disclosed.
