Long Island-based Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace plans to open a new location at the Yorktown Green Shopping Center at 329 Downing Drive in Yorktown Heights in August, representatives announced.  The space, formerly housing Food Emporium, sat empty for more than 10 years until the specialty grocer began renovations. Five Guys Location In Dutchess Abruptly Closes For Remodel A popular Hudson Valley burger spot unexpectedly closed its doors without warning for a remodel. The Five Guys location on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie will be temporarily closed for renovations, though the location in Fishkill further down the roadway will remain open for the time being. As of this week, the windows at Five Guys have been covered, with large signs promoting their re-opening, “soon.” Legal permits from several departments are also posted on the front door near the “re-opening soon” signs.
