College Senior From Fairfield County Killed In Crash A University of Connecticut student from Fairfield County has died from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle rollover crash. The crash happened around 4 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 in Coventry, Connecticut, about seven miles west of UConn's campus in Storrs. The student has been identified as Cole Montefusco, 21, of Redding, a 2016 graduate of Joel Barlow High School. Jeremy Kipnis, 54, of Redding, was found floating in the middle of Lake Carmel around 5:30 a.m., Monday, July 22, said the Kent Police. Kipnis disappeared after telling his wife he was going swimming Saturday afternoon, July 20, but then never returned home.
