A teenage girl was severely injured after jumping out of the back door of an Omni bus following a flat tire. The incident occurred in Orange County around 7:15 p.m., Wednesday, July 3, on I-84 in Middletown. According to Trooper Steven Nevel with the New York State Police, a yellow Omni bus carrying 29 passengers was traveling east on I-84 in the town of Montgomery from Camp Pupa in Sullivan County. A cafe owner and her dog were rescued from the shores of an island in a Hudson Valley lake after becoming stranded following a sudden thunderstorm that knocked them from their paddle board. An attempt to serve an arrest warrant in the region led to a five-hour standoff with law enforcement. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at around 11 a.m. on Monday, July 1, on Route 44 in Pleasant Valley. According to Capt. A 41-year-old man was hit and killed while walking in an auto dealership parking lot by another man attempting to park. The incident occurred in Orange County on Monday, May 20, at Hudson Valley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram on Route 17K in the town of Newburgh. A Silver Alert has been issued following the disappearance of Todd Davies. Davies was last seen on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at around 4:30 p.m. in the area of Wilton Center.
