Putnam Sheriff's Office Mourns Death Of Duncan, Retired K9 Officer The Putnam County Sheriff's Department is mourning the death this week of its dedicated, highly-successful K9 officer named Duncan. In 2016, K9 Duncan retired from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office. She was 10-years-old and served at the Sheriff’s Department as a certified patrol, tracking and narcotics dog for eight years.  During her distinguished career with the Sheriff’s Office, she was credited with more than 300 narcotics arrests and solving more than two dozen property-related crimes.  K9 Duncan is also credited with numerous tracks where she located criminals and missing persons.…
