Police: Woman Faces Two Felony Charges After Kicking In Door In Town Of Poughkeepsie Burglary A woman allegedly beat a bedroom door with a frying pan after kicking in the front door of a home faces charges of burglary and assault. Monifah Carter, 22, of the Town of Poughkeepsie, was arrested on Sunday, Oct. 7 after officers responded to an apartment at 134 Innis Ave., in the Town of Poughkeepsie for a person damaging property inside the apartment, said Capt. Kevin Faber. When officers arrived, they found Carter inside damaging a bedroom door with a frying pan.
