Dutchess Pair Nabbed For Shoplifting At ShopRite A man and woman are facing charges after being busted by prevention personnel attempting to shoplift merchandise from a Putnam County grocery store, officials said. Putnam County Sheriff Capt. Lisa Ortolano announced the arrests of Wingdale residents Matthew Sehrt, 28 and Cynthia Gilroy, 27, who were caught red-handed attempting to steal merchandise from ShopRite on Route 52 in Carmel.
