Police were called at around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11 in Albany with reports of a domestic assault involving a gun at a home on Second Avenue. When officers arrived, the victim told police that she and her 17-year-old son got into an argument when the boy pointed a loaded handgun at her, Albany Police said. A Danbury deputy fire chief helped save the life of a person suffering a medical crisis on a flight from Las Vegas. The incident took place around 5:30 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 14, when Deputy Chief Bill Lounsbury was off duty on a flight from Las Vegas when he was altered that medical personnel was needed for a patient having an anaphylactic reaction.  He told the flight crew that he was an advanced EMT, said Danbury Fire Communications Coordinator James Gagliardo.
