Woman, Dog Killed After Being Struck By Train In Rhinebeck Police are investigating after a woman and her dog were killed in a crash involving a train in the region. It happened on Sunday, May 1 in Dutchess County near the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge, state police said. At approximately 4:45 p.m. troopers and Dutchess County Deputies responded to Slate Dock Road in Rhinebeck for a report of a pedestrian struck by a train. Duo Accused Of Entering Dutchess Home, Forcibly Stealing Purse From Victim Two men have been arrested in connection with a home robbery in which they allegedly forcibly stole a purse from a victim. Christopher R. Arsenault, 32, and Salem E. Welborn, 31, both of Kingston, were arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 4, after Dutchess County Sheriff's deputies responded to an alleged robbery in the Town of Washington, said Sheriff's Capt. John Watterson.
