Dutchess County Man Found Shot To Death In Car Identified A man found dead inside a vehicle from a gunshot wound when police responded to a rollover auto accident has been identified. Jeffrey Johnson, 29, of the City of Poughkeepsie, was found around 2:21 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 12, when police responded to a report of a possible rollover crash, City of Poughkeepsie Det. Lt. Matt Clark said. When police arrived on the scene they discovered that Johnson had an apparent gunshot wound. 'Predicate' Sex Offender Reports Move To Hyde Park A registered "predicate" sex offender convicted of sexually abusing an 11-year-old girl has reported a move into Dutchess County. The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Dutchess residents regarding the residency of 37-year-old Jeffrey Johnson, who has moved to a residence on Crum Elbow Road in Hyde Park.
