Man Charged With Gun, Heroin Possession After Raid In Dutchess A man from Poughkeepsie has been charged after police say he was caught with heroin and a gun during a search warrant execution. The Dutchess County Drug Task Force and the City of Poughkeepsie Police Emergency Services Unit executed a search warrant at 13 Academy Street in the City of Poughkeepsie on Friday, May 10. The warrant was a result of an ongoing investigation into narcotics sales police say were taking place at the location and its surrounding areas.
