Man Accused Of Waving Weapon At Passing Motorists In Dutchess A man walking on a busy roadway in the area waved a weapon at passing motorists and then responding officers, according to authorities. The incident happened early Thursday afternoon, July 2. At around 1:40 p.m., a member of the public walked into the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department to report the incident that allegedly happened in the area of 66 Washington Street. Police Investigate After Man Found With Severe Head Injuries In Dutchess Police are searching for leads and asking the public for help finding out what happened to a man found in a street with severe head injuries. The man was found around 4:40 a.m., Friday, Nov. 1, when the City of Poughkeepsie Police received a call reporting a man down in the street in the area of 219 Mill St., near the Italian Center, said police department officials.
