Approximately 70 ice cream products sold by multiple brands including Friendly's and Hershey's are being recalled due to a possible presence of listeria, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said. Ice cream giant Baskin-Robbins is set to open its only location in the Capital Region. NY Woman Sues Cold Stone Over Lack Of Pistachios In Ice Cream
A New York woman has filed a class action lawsuit against Cold Stone Creamery, claiming that the company falsely advertised a number of its flavors. The lawsuit, filed by Nassau County resident Jenna Marie Duncan, may soon move to court, according to documents. Duncan, who is from Farmingdale, claimed that in July 2022, she visited a Levittown Cold Stone for a frozen treat. She ordered the pistachio ice cream under the guise that it contained pistachios. Recall Issued By Ice Cream Manufacturer Due To Listeria Fears
A recall has been issued for a brand of ice cream, ice cream bars, yogurt, and gelato due to Listeria concerns. Vermont-based Wilcox Ice Cream says that one lot of the Super Premium Mint Chip manufactured on Tuesday, Nov. 14 may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
