Emergency crews in Rensselaer County were called shortly after 8 p.m. Monday, May 29, with reports of a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle in the village of Hoosick Falls, on State Route 22. An investigation by New York State Police determined that 44-year-old Michael Cameron, of Eagle Bridge, was driving his motorcycle northbound when he attempted to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone. The incident happened at around 7:20 p.m. Saturday, March 11, at the Cumberland Farms in Hoosick Falls, located on Church Street, according to Hoosick Falls Police. Arriving officers found the victim suffering from a stab wound and applied a tourniquet to control the bleeding, police said.
