I-84 Reopens Following Rollover Crash Both lanes on a section of I-84 have reopened following a single-vehicle crash in the area. It happened around 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 7, in Dutchess County near Exit 17 in Holmes, New York State Police said. The roadway was closed for at least an hour following the crash in which the vehicle, reportedly involved in a police pursuit, overturned. Edward Collins, of Holmes, a hamlet in the Town of Pawling, died around 7:30 a.m. Monday on Route 52, at Towners Road, after striking the pillar in front of Gino's Grab & Go Deli, said Kent Police Chief Alexander DiVernieri. A 2.2 magnitude earthquake was reported early Wednesday morning near the Northern Westchester/Putnam about 3 miles north, northwest of Mohegan Lake.
