Hit-Run Crash: Suspect Nabbed After Police Cruiser Struck On I-684 A New York State Police vehicle was damaged by a hit-and-run driver while the trooper was stopped on I-684 helping another motorist in Northern Westchester. The incident took place in Bedford around 6 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 26. Trooper AJ Hicks said the crash occurred while the trooper was stopped in the southbound lane of I-684 assisting another driver when a gold Lexus SUV struck the passenger side of the police cruiser. Edison Guerrero, of Brooklyn, was arrested on Monday, June 20 in Harrison. The Harrison Police responded to a residence in Purchase on a report of an unknown man seen on the property of a house that was under construction, said Sgt. Carmine Gentile, of the Harrison Police.
