Man Tries To Steal Delivery Van After Fleeing Officers In Hudson Valley, Police Say A man faces grand larceny charges after allegedly trying to steal a delivery van in Westchester while trying to flee officers who spotted him trying to break into another vehicle, police said.  The incident happened on Tuesday, March 14 around 3:50 a.m., when police in Greenburgh responded to Old Lane in the Edgemont section of town after a suspicious person was reported to be in the area, Captain Frank Farina of Greenburgh Police said on Thursday, March 30.  Once officers arrived in the area, an initial investigation found that someone had attempted to steal from a nearby vehicle…

Hudson Valley Students Join Fight Against Gun Violence Local students are getting involved in the national student-run movement to end gun violence. A national walkout and march, organized by survivors of the rampage last week at a school in Florida, have now been scheduled for next month. There will be a national school walkout day to protest gun violence on Wednesday, March 14.
