Putnam Man Charged With Drug Possession Had Suspended License, Sheriff Says A Putnam man who is facing drug charges after police stopped his vehicle was allegedly driving with a suspended license, the Putnam County Sheriff says. Thursday, Feb. 14 around 11 a.m., police initiated a traffic stop after observing a vehicle commit a series of traffic violations on Haviland Drive and Doansburg Road in the Town of Patterson. Further investigation with the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles revealed that the driver, 28-year-old Gideon Taub of Patterson, had a suspended license.
