Hyde Park Man Stole Kayak, Paddles Valued At $1.2K, Police Say An investigation by state police led to the arrest of a 26-year-old Hyde Park man for stealing a kayak and paddles valued at $1,200. State Police from the Rhinebeck barracks arrested Christopher Kane for criminal possession of stolen property, a Class E felony, on Tuesday, June 26. On April 13, troopers responded to Fiddlers Bridge Road in the town of Clinton for a report of a stolen kayak and paddles.  An investigation led to the discovery of Kane possessing the stolen items, police said.
