Dutchess Honoring Veterans In 2018 DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- Dutchess County is celebrating veterans in 2018. In honor of the 100-year anniversary of the end of World War I, 2018 has been declared the Year of the Veteran in Dutchess County. "Throughout this yearlong celebration, Dutchess County will highlight the selfless sacrifice of our service men and women," County Executive Marc Molinaro said.
