Beloved Mother Of 3 From Dutchess Dies At Age 50 A Hudson Valley mother of three has died at the age of 50. Dutchess County resident Jennifer J. Strang-Thrasher, of Wassaic, died on Sunday, February 4, at Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie. Strang-Thrasher, born in Connecticut in the town of Sharon in Litchfield County, was a graduate of Dover High School and Dutchess Community College.  She was a direct care worker at Cardinal Hayes Home for Children in Millbrook, for 30 years, according to her obituary. Kellie Wood, Child Care Provider In Dutchess, Dies At 54 A longtime childcare provider from the area died Sunday, Aug. 25, at age 54. Kellie Wood died at her home in Dover Plains. Wood was a childcare provider at Astor Head Start Dutchess County Day Care for over 20 years. Born on January 20, 1965, in Pittsfield, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Richard G. and Ann Marie (Sitzman) Vickery.  She was a graduate of Dover High School class of 1983.
