Dutchess Woman Faces Identity Theft Charge A local woman was taken into police custody after allegedly using an unauthorized credit card more than a dozen times over a stretch of nearly two months, police said. Detectives with the Rhinebeck Police Department launched an investigation late last year when the credit card was used 17 times in the in December and January. Family Displaced In Three-Alarm Fire At Estate In Clinton Corners This story has been updated. A family has been displaced after a raging three-alarm fire at a six-bedroom estate in Clinton Corners on the Salt Point Turnpike. The fire, which was reported around 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, at 2752 Salt Point Turnpike, started in the basement, with smoke and flames visible on arrival, officials said. Numerous departments aided in the response, including tanker trucks. Dutchess County Sheriff's officials said at this time the roadway remains open.  The fire was upgraded from two alarms to three just before 10:30 a.m. Check back to Daily Voice for updates.
