Area College Student Charged With Rape Admits To Sexual Abuse, DA Says A college student in the Hudson Valley who was charged with rape has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge. Anthony Pennachio, age 19, of Brooklyn, a student in Orange County at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, pleaded guilty to third-degree sexual abuse in connection with an alleged rape that occurred during a party at the college last February. According to Orange County District Attorney's Office Assistant District Attorney Christopher Borek, Pennachio was sentenced to 80 hours of community service, in addition to a final order of protection for the victim. Search Warrant Executed At District Headquarters Of Newburgh School District Search warrants were served Tuesday at several Newburgh School District buildings by the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, Assistant District Attorney Christopher Borek confirmed. More than a dozen investigator were involved in serving the warrants and other court orders that included "historical records," Borek confirmed. Man, 59, Killed In Head-On Hudson Valley Motorcycle Crash State Police are investigating a crash involving a vehicle from the Orange County District Attorney's office in which a 59-year-old motorcyclist was killed. The crash occurred in Orange County at around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday on Crystal Run Road in the Town of Wallkill, said Trooper Steven Nevel. According to Nevel, a  preliminary investigation indicates that the motorcycle, being operated by Bert Wolvers of Goshen was traveling east on Crystal Run Road when it failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and entered the westbound lane.  The motorcycle was struck head-on by an oncoming vehicle ca…
