Accomplished Entrepreneur From Region Dies At Age 29 Friends and relatives are mourning the loss of an accomplished entrepreneur and videographer from the Capital District who died at the age of 29. Albany native Max Drabkin passed away Wednesday, July 27, according to his obituary. A cause of death was not listed. A 2012 graduate of Albany High School, Drabkin went on to earn an economics degree from McGill University in Montreal in 2016, his memorial said. John lived his early life in Mt. Kisco and raised his family in Bedford Hills. He is survived by his devoted wife (Joan) of 62 years, his three children (Christine, Karen and Paul), his five grandchildren (Mark, Michael, Benjamin, Matthew and Anna), his sisters (Judy and Patricia) and brother (Robert).
