A 26-year-old Westchester man has been indicted on a murder charge after admitting to strangling his mother unconscious earlier this year.
Daniel Flores Arteaga, of New Rochelle, has been indicted and charged with second-degree murder, a violent felony, for allegedly strangling his mother, who taken off life support in April after being attacked.

A 45-year-old man in Westchester has been indicted for allegedly having sexual intercourse with a minor over the course of two years and impregnating her.
Croton-on-Hudson resident Pablo Dure was indicted on Tuesday, Aug. 18, and arraigned on one count of course of sexual conduct against a child, a violent felony, Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr. announced.
It is alleged that between Dec. 1, 2017, and Nov. 1, 2019, Dure engaged in sexual intercourse on a regular basis with a girl from the time she was 10 until she was 12.

Man, 20, Admits To Role In 2018 Fatal Shooting
A Northern Westchester man admitted to his role in the fatal soothing of a man last summer.
Peekskill resident Demetrius Bogan, 20, pleaded guilty to manslaughter for killing 22-year-old Khalil Lyons in Peekskill in July, 2018, Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr. announced.
