Inmate Caught With 'Improvised Weapon' At Fishkill Correctional Facility An inmate from Northern Westchester at the Fishkill Correctional Facility is facing a new felony charge after being caught by corrections officers with an alleged illegal weapon. A law enforcement investigation into an incident that took place on Dec. 15 last year found that Cortlandt resident Alexander Welch-Vanzile, 22, allegedly was in possession of an improvised weapon made from a sharpened piece of metal while he was incarcerated at the facility.
