Students pointed out that they are paying more of the tuition costs while the state pays less, changing the university from a state-supported school to a state-assisted one. Students spoke about their education debts; nationally, student debt is at $1.3 trillion. They are looking for a tuition freeze and more state support for the SUNY campuses, according to Time Warner News.
