Democrats Retain Control Of Hyde Park Town Board

HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- The Democrats in Hyde Park remained in control of the town board Tuesday.

Supervisor Aileen Rohor ran unopposed.

In Ward 1, incumbent Emily Svenson, a Democrat ran unopposed.

In Ward 2, incumbent Democrat David Ray defeated Patrick Lindley in his run for a second term 485 votes to 377 votes. 

In Ward 3, Joseph Marrine, a Democrat, defeated Republican Salvatore DiPressi 396 votes to 332 votes.

Incumbent Ken Schneider, ran unopposed in Ward 4.
