A 34-year-old who is wanted by numerous local police agencies for various crimes was nabbed by Red Hook police after a yearlong investigation into a burglary.

Igor Ljekocevic, of Pleasant Valley, was arrested Wednesday after he was tracked to Enfield, Connecticut in connection with a burglary last year in the village of Red Hook, said Sgt. Patrick Hildenbrand.

According to Hildenbrand, Red Hook detectives traveled to Enfield to pick-up Ljekocevic who is accused of breaking into an unnamed village restaurant and stealing cash and a safe, valued at around $400.

He was charged with felony burglary and is being held without bail at the Dutchess County Jail.
