The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert on Friday to Dutchess County residents regarding the residency of 32-year-old Stephen Pressley, who has moved from an apartment in Poughkeepsie to an apartment on Albany Post Road in Hyde Park.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Pressley as a level two threat, which means he is at "moderate risk of a repeat offense."

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Pressley had sexual intercourse with his 14-year-old victim in Poughkeepsie in March 2009. He was arrested by the Poughkeepsie Town Police Department and sentenced to 18 months in state prison. He is now under the jurisdiction of the Hyde Park Town Police Department.
