Route 9 Stretch Reopens After Fatal Crash In Hyde Park

A busy stretch of Route 9 (Albany Post Road) has reopened following an hours-long accident investigation after a fatal crash.

The closure was between Mulford Avenue and Old Post Road in Hyde Park and last most of Sunday afternoon, March 10.

The crash, involving a tractor-trailer and passenger vehicle, occurred just before noon. The roadway reopened around 5:15 p.m.
