Route 9 just south of Rhinebeck is back open to traffic following a single-car crash that took out a utility pole, is reopen after almost 10 hours, according to the New York State Police.
The crash, that took place at 12:43 p.m. Monday. caused numerous wires to block the roadway closing the road in both directions through the evening commute.
During the closure, traffic was rerouted to Ackert Hook Road and Haggerty Hill Road.
The driver, which flipped the vehicle, received minor injuries.
