Greenfield, 50, of Pleasant Valley, for second-degree burglary, a felony; second-degree criminal mischief, a felony; first-degree criminal contempt, a felony; and misdemeanor menacing and resisting arrest, police said.
He's being held without bail in the Dutchess County Jail awaiting a court date, police said.
Troopers were called to the house Sunday night by a woman who said her estranged boyfriend was in the home, breaking things. Police found he'd broken a TV, several windows and other items.
Police said he refused to listen to police then charged police, resulting in a brief struggle. Officers later learned that the victim had an order of protection against him.
