Man Accused of Firing Rifle Outside White Lake Home

WHITE LAKE, N.Y. -- A 30-year-old man accused of firing a rifle outside of a home on Thanksgiving has been arrested, according to twcnews.com.

Police have charged a 30-year-old Sullivan County man in connection with the firing of a rifle outside of a White Lake, N.Y., home.

According to the report, Ryan Diventi is facing at least one felony charge in connection with the alleged incident in Sullivan County.

Diventi is believed to have fired several shots from the rifle about 8:30 p.m. Thursday while in the home's driveway, according to the report. He was arrested later at a road check point on Route 115 in Bethel, N.Y. No injuries were reported.

Police later learned that Diventi may have threatened police or other first responders, according to the news channel.

The 30-year-old is facing felony counts of reckless endangerment and possession of a weapon as well as charges of driving while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license.
