Hyde Park Men Face Burglary, Drug Charges After Police Search

HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Two Hyde Park men are facing criminal charges after police looking for stolen property from the town of Poughkeepsie also found weapons and drugs during their search, according to a Poughkeepsie Journal report.

Henry R. Masten, 47, is being held in Dutchess County Jail on a felony third-degree grand larceny charge. The Poughkeepsie Journal did not name the second man, who is charged with misdemeanor possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Town of Poughkeepsie police executed the search warrant in an effort to find a large amount of items stolen from a business. In addition to recovering the stolen items, police also found a weapon, a large amount of money, marijuana and heroin, the Poughkeepsie Journal reports.
