HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- A Hyde Park man accused of stealing iPods, jewelry, wallets and credit cards from numerous cars in town is facing felony and misdemeanor charges, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.
Kain R. Brown, 24, is suspected of committing the thefts over the past several months, according to the Journal. He has been charged with one count of fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony, and six counts of petty larceny, a misdemeanor, the Journal reported.
Brown was arraigned in Hyde Park Town Court, where he was ordered to be held on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond, according to the Journal.
Authorities are urging people to lock their cars and not to leave valuable items inside, the Journal reported.
