Fire Closes SUNY New Paltz Fine Arts Building

NEW PALTZ, N.Y. -- The State University Of New York At New Paltz Fine Arts Building studio was closed this weekend as a result of a fire on Thursday night that damaged the wood and sculpture studios, according to The Poughkeepsie Journal.

A graphic design thesis show was still held on Friday as the Rotunda was not damaged. The building was expected to open Monday and no one was injured in the fire, according to The Poughkeepsie Journal.
