PLEASANT VALLEY, N.Y. -- Lillian L. Baeder, of Pleasant Valley, died on Friday, Jan. 20. She was 89.
Baeder was born July 17, 1927 in Torrington, Conn. She is the daughter of the late Anthony and the late Mary (Dwyer) LePage. She married Lee W. Baeder on Aug. 26, 1950 at St. Francis Of Assisi Church Torrington CT., he predeceased her on Dec. 17, 1980.
Baeder was a retired ER Admitting Clerk at Sharon Hospital in Connecticut. She also served the area as a long time volunteer of over 30 years in different capacities for the Boy Scouts of America, first starting as a Cub Scout Den Mother.
She is survived by her sons, William Baeder and his wife Beverly, Adam Baeder and his wife Karen; and her two step grandchildren, Kenneth and Kayla. She was predeceased by her son, Brett in 1988.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at noon, on Jan. 25, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 160 Main St., Torrington. Burial will follow at the Hillside Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made in her name to the Salt Point Fire Company.
