NEW PALTZ, N. Y. -- New Paltz town police are alerting the public that one person was stung, so far, after crates of bees were dropped off by mistake at Apple Hill Farm Stand, the Poughkeepsie Journal reports.
New Paltz police are warning people to be careful in the area near Apple Hill Farm Stand after getting reports Thursday of a swarm of bees left there by mistake, the Poughkeepsie Journal says.

The crates were left in front of the farm stand on Route 32, and people are being encouraged to be careful in the area, the Poughkeepsie Journal says.
