HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- A Hyde Park teen is behind bars after members of the Dutchess County Drug Task Force found heroin and crack Wednesday during a search of his home, task force members said.
Elijah Chestnut, 19, was busted following an investigation into narcotic sales taking place at his East Dorsey Lane home, said Frank Tasciotti, assistant coordinator Dutchess County Drug Task Force.
During the search, approximately 50 bags of heroin and a quantity of crack cocaine were seized, said Tasciotti.
Chesnut was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
He is being held at the Dutchess County Jail.
