FDR's Hyde Park Home Gets Dressed For The Holidays

HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Springwood, the home of Franklin D. Roosevelt is getting decorated for the holiday season and prepping for an open house on Saturday, Dec. 12.

The house is a National Historic Site and is open year-round, seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Also on the National Park site is the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library & Museum, operated by the National Archives. Visitors can enjoy a guided tour of FDR's home, take a self-guided tour of the Museum and stroll the grounds, gardens, and trails of this 300-acre site.
