Dog Trapped Under Shed Rescued In Red Hook

Police quickly responded after getting an unusual call about a dog trapped under a shed in Dutchess County.

About 1:15 p.m. on Friday, June 22, Red Hook Police responded and ultimately rescued the dog.

At the request of the homeowner, the officers removed the floor of the shed to rescue the trapped dog named Shelia unharmed.

After learning about the rescue, one Facebook reader offered to repair the shed for free.
