Held in a private barn from 7 to 11 p.m., at 73 Starbarrack Road, the event was created by Red Hook resident Joey Shavelle, as a nod to the successful radio series, "The Moth."
Participants in The Porch share a tale with the audience, without notes. Stories are limited to about 10 minutes, and must be true. Shavelle curates the material and Rhinebeck colleague John Nathan hosts the evening.
The Porch last appeared at Bard College's Spiegeltent earlier this summer, to a full house.
Admission is $10. Seating is limited. For more info, click here.
