Why It's Kid Worthy: The old-school diner décor is cheerfully kitschy. With its all-day breakfast, the little ones can have Mickey Mouse-shaped pancakes, waffles or French toast for dinner. Kid-sized meals (for 10 and under) are served in a 50s-style paper car. The children's menu is printed on a placemat, with things to color in. After wolfing down comfort foods such as burgers, fries, mac and cheese, and homemade onion rings, tiny tummies may not have room for desserts such as its Oreo Cookies Avalanche, Monkey Business (classic banana split) and lemon meringue pie. Oh, and don’t forget the fountain drinks like the “brown cow” (root beer with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup), egg creams and smoothies.
